Indonesia outperform Thailand in Group A at the 2010 AFF Cup

Two penalty kicks of Bambang Pamungkas made Indonesia 2-1 victory over Thailand in the final game of Group-A AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 in Bung Karno Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday night.


Suree's goal at minute 68, to ensure excellence of Thailad after receiving a lay-up in the penalty box of Indonesia. The ball rolled to the far post in the right corner of goalkeeper Markus Horizon, changing the position to be 1-0.


Up to 68 minutes, Thailand more often perform malicious attacks. Meanwhile, although Indonesia Bambang Pamungkas enter the second half only pressing sporadically and striker Cristian Gonzalez practically isolated.


However, at minute 79 after a barrage of attacks from Indonesian players, Cristian Gonzalez dropped by the opponent in the penalty box. The referee gave a penalty which was completed well by Bambang Pamungkas, 1-1.


Bambang's second goal at minute 89 was preceded by a handball from Natthaphong Samana, who received a red card after being awarded a yellow card. Bambang successful execution with a good kick, the score increased to 2-1.


Malaysia is already win over Laos with the score 5-1 in Palembang and Indonesia win over Thailand, so Indonesia and Malaysia have the right to qualify for the semi-final as the champion and runner-ups
